BOURDIER SAS oak Sawmill & Stavemill : oak wood for oenology
The oak logs we are machining in our stavemill for our production of oak staves & oak boule cooperage grade have been selected in the most famous and prestigious French Forest :Allier (Forêt Domaniale de Tronçais et Futaies de l'Allier), Burgundy, Région Centre (Loches...), Pays de la Loire (Bercé, Reno Valdieu...), d'Ile de France (Fontainebleau, Chantilly....), Normandy (Belleme...)
All those origins of oak logs are reputated for the straightness of their grain and the thightness of those garin to transmit the wine all the tatse of our French oak trees to sublime it.
Our oak wood for oenology will be air dried for 2 winters, in order to "wash" the timber from its tanin and being ready to use for oenology.
